Our Team
For over 37 years, Bethany Korean Presbyterian Church has saturated the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with the love, joy, mercy, peace and grace of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have grown to be one of the stalwart, principle, conservative, evangelical reformed Presbyterian churches in the Carrollton/Lewisville suburb, especially to the growing Korean-American community. We are proudly a member church of the flourishing gospel-movement of the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO).
Bethany began in 1986 with a gathering of a few Korean families, and has since then grown into a robust Korean ministry of nearly 300 members. From the very start, the church has been prayerfully, financially, and joyfully committed to branch-out to the larger English-speaking community with the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ. This mission began with the spiritual nourishment of their children reared in the United States.
Throughout the years, these children have grown, both in stature and in faith. With the work that God has already done (and continuous to do) for our beloved Korean congregation, we continue the vision to be a channel of the love of God in Jesus Christ flowing out to every soul and every language in north Dallas, Carrollton, Lewisville, and the larger Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
On Monday, May 22, 2023, with prayerful support and encouragement, the English Congregation of Bethany incorporated as a new church community - Hosanna Presbyterian Church of North Dallas - with the vision to reach farther and wider with the gospel for souls in need of Christ and a church family, even beyond the Korean context. Both Hosanna Church and Bethany Korean Church share the vision to be - One family on mission to plant & coexist as multiplying churches, for one Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
We are a group of flawed yet faithful families, elderly, widowed spouses, parents, singles, postgraduates, young adults, college and youth students, children and infants. Welcome to this broken yet beautiful and better family of God, where the same grace found in Christ alone rescued us all. With an open door, open hands, and open hearts, we declare you are called to be loved from above, and called to love one another. Won't you partner with us to this end?
